The camp was an abandoned four-story textile mill which was renovated in May 1933 to serve as a "protective custody" facility for dissidents such as Jehovah's Witnesses

The wood color is a lovely brown color

Initially only the 7th Marine Regiment was in garrison on British Samoa

as well as a producer of screws and bolts

There are almost no markings on this mount except on the range plate. This tripod was reconditioned postwar production ex Macedonia, which is most likely why it is devoid
